Planned Freeloading, Theft

Rarely is a liberal this explicit about it:
America is productive enough that it could probably shelter, feed, educate, and even provide health care for its entire population with just a fraction of us actually working.
So if there are fewer and fewer of us working, and the government confiscates more and more of our property to support a bigger and bigger welfare state, don’t worry—that’s not a bug, it’s a feature!
The author of this opinion piece on CNN admits that Communism “never quite worked as advertised,” but in coming up with his alternative, he says, “We start by accepting that food and shelter are basic human rights.” As Dave Barry would say, I am not making this up!
Hat tip to Rush Limbaugh.

Would communism really be that bad? Why shouldn’t a chicken farmer get paid as much as a Wall Street banker? Or maybe we can go back to a bartering system. I guess it doesn’t matter, none of us will be able to own homes anyway. Community property actually makes quite a bit of sense.
